Strawberry-Banana Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a great foundation for the day ahead. Whole-grain and packed with fiber, it's best when topped with a bit of crunch and something fresh and sweet. Today, wake up to the taste of strawberries, bananas and rich walnuts - and suddenly your day will look a lot brighter!

  • Rolled oats
    1 cup
  • Water
    2 cups
  • Banana
    1
  • Fresh strawberries
    1 cup
  • Walnuts
    2 tbsps
  • Flax meal
    2 tbsps
Optional
  • Unsweetened Plant-Based Milk
    12 cup
Directions (15 min • Super easy)
  1. In a saucepan, bring the rolled oats and water to a boil over medium heat. Reduce the heat and let simmer. Once most of the liquid is absorbed, remove the pan from the heat.

  2. Peel the banana and chop into bite-size pieces. Rinse the fresh strawberries, remove stems, and slice.

  3. Stir the bananas, strawberries, walnuts and flax meal into the cooked rolled oats. Top with a little unsweetened soy/nut/rice milk and enjoy!
